FOLLOW-THROUGH
Issuing hundreds to thousands of requests per day, we have found the most powerful method to ensure timely record production is to make personal contact with the records holder. Our team of request expeditors establishes a strong rapport with most providers and regularly reaches out to obtain the current status of each request. Real-time updates are provided to our clients via Marker Online and any roadblocks result in an immediate notice to our client.
RADIOLOGY
Our expert staff will duplicate, sort, identify, and label all x-rays for easy use. We identify the custodian that released the films, the facility that performed the x-ray, the type of x-ray taken, and the date of the procedure. Corresponding radiology reports will accompany the films, and a complete itemization of all films will be maintained. Film images can be shipped to clients, uploaded to Marker Online, or delivered via secure FTP.
HIPAA AUTHORIZATION REQUESTS
We employ a highly effective preparation and issuance process that quickly builds a complete and HIPAA-compliant request. Our system works whether there are 10 or 10,000 requests, and we are able to set delivery by fax, email, upload, mail, or shipping. We collaborate heavily with our clients during collection startup to ensure we are using preferred language across all of our authorization requests.
RECORDS SUCCESS
Records are typically produced by providers in varying formats and our system is able to convert them into standardized PDFs. Custom bates labels are applied to every page and then OCR-searchable versions are uploaded to Marker Online immediately. In the event that the records are incomplete, our request expeditors will initiate follow-up immediately to achieve timely completion of each collection.
PATHOLOGY
The Marker Group will obtain original pathology and maintain a documented chain of custody for future use. We identify all pathology material by its corresponding pathology report and source. We also maintain a complete itemization of all pathology material. All materials are securely stored on-site.
